The practical details
Terms & conditions.
Effective 20 October 2026
These terms describe the use of CabinView and this website, provided by Kod Labs. Please read them before using the app or site.
1. Using CabinView
CabinView is an iPhone browser that uses Apple’s WebKit to access third-party websites. You are responsible for using the app and website lawfully and for following the terms of websites and services you access. If you do not agree to these terms, please stop using the app and site.
For an app obtained through the App Store, the license terms presented with the app and Apple’s applicable terms also apply. Where no separate app license is supplied, Apple’s standard end-user license agreement applies. These terms do not replace mandatory App Store conditions or rights you have under applicable law.
2. Devices and availability
The app requires a compatible iPhone, a supported iOS version, and an internet connection. Network or service charges may apply through your provider. Features can depend on your device, operating system, connected hardware, and third-party website behavior.
3. Third-party websites and media
CabinView does not own or supply the websites, search results, accounts, or media you access. Their providers control availability, sign-in requirements, content, subscriptions, and playback restrictions. You remain responsible for any permissions or subscriptions required to access that content.
CabinView does not guarantee that a website will support embedded sign-in, background playback, or external playback. The app is not intended to bypass access restrictions, payment requirements, or digital rights protections.
4. Responsible use and CarPlay
Use CabinView only when it is safe and lawful. Do not browse, choose content, or interact with your iPhone while driving. Set up content and begin playback while safely parked, and follow local laws and your vehicle’s instructions.
Browsing happens on the iPhone. The CarPlay companion provides a native menu and access to system playback controls. CabinView does not display arbitrary webpages on CarPlay or add video support to a vehicle. Playback depends on permitted conditions, website support, and connected hardware.
5. Website data and privacy
Website sessions are stored on your device using WebKit. Clearing website data signs you out of websites within CabinView. Review our privacy policy for details about app data, website hosting, and support correspondence.
6. Intellectual property
CabinView’s branding and original website material belong to Kod Labs or their respective rights holders. Third-party names, trademarks, and content remain the property of their owners. Public source availability alone does not grant rights beyond any license expressly included with that source.
7. Availability and limitations
We aim to keep CabinView useful and reliable, but the app and site may contain errors or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, they are provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every website or playback destination.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any applicable app license governs its own warranty and liability provisions.
8. Changes
Features and these terms may change as CabinView develops. Updates to these terms will be published here with a revised effective date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will follow those requirements.
